DAY 12 - SELF-ESTEEM REBOOT

Sleep is essential to the maintenance of mental health. Sleep helps to regulate mood and process emotional information and experiences into memory. Insufficient sleep is associated with increased emotional reactivity and emotional disturbance. Research indicates that REM sleep may play an especially significant role in maintaining emotional well-being and psychological balance. Sleeping properly does wonders for your mental health.
Tip: Turn off the TV at least 20 minutes before bed time and do not sleep with the television on.

DAY 9 - SELF-ESTEEM REBOOT

Learn assertiveness.

Assertiveness is the key to standing up for yourself. It isn't just a cliche, it's a bona fide means for improving your chances of getting what you want and for being heard properly. Being assertive enables you to express your wants, needs, and preferences in a way that shows you're prepared to stand up for yourself while still respecting the other person. Assertive techniques improve your self-confidence and displays that you value yourself.
